Meet Patty McLucas

Hello! I'm genuinely excited to join you on your journey to wellness. Through over 30 years of dedicated experience, knowledge, and expertise, I guide individuals towards achieving holistic well-being—physically, emotionally, and mentally—through a trauma-informed lens.

Educational Odyssey: My dedication to helping clients with sound sleep, stress management, and trauma resolution has fueled my immersion in various educational and training paths:

  • Somatic Experiencing: An in-depth 3-year training in 1:1 trauma renegotiation and resolution.

  • Mindfulness: Specialized training in the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training practicuum; Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) from Stanford’s CCARE; Mindful Self-Compassion; and teacher training for “Awakening Joy: Ten Steps to Happiness.”

  • Meditation Practices: Decades-long experience with diverse meditation and contemplative practices, including Zen, Vipassana, Non-Duality and Yoga.

Instructor and Guide: In my role as a Mindfulness Meditation instructor, I've had the honor of teaching classes for Stanford's Cancer and Neurosciences Wellness Programs for over 14 years. In addition, I've taught group classes on mindfulness, stress reduction and sound sleep for Stanford’s Healthy Living Program for 14 years. I’ve been privileged to guide industry leaders in enhancing performance and well-being through mindful lifestyle shifts at major corporations such as Apple and Google.

Just for Fun: In my free time, I delight in the joy of movement—I am an avid hiker and yoga enthusiast, a runner and alpine skier, and am just learning cross-country skiing. The natural world is a constant source of inspiration and delight for me. Whether enjoying a captivating read, exploring indie films, traveling or immersing myself art, I am passionate about nourishing my soul through diverse and novel experiences.
